1. Volcker Agrees with Me

Those three posts are very different in terms of length, style, and topic.  Please comment below about what you like or don’t like about my posts so far: whether it the topic, the content, or the style of writing, it’d be great to know want to see.

While I try to figure out how to have tea with Paul Volcker and discuss College Football, here’s some other posts I like:

Living the Dream – A link to the often glossed over story of how Government involvement in the housing market.  30 years of government policy pushed lenders to make home ownership more available (put another way, 30 years of government policy incentivized lenders to make bad loans).

The Black Swan by Nassim Taleb – The only book review I have written that I am at all happy with, and it was only because I hated the book.  I want to do more book reviews, but I haven’t written one I liked about a book I like.  Plus one of my earliest references to pop culture in a post.

Focus on the Big Slice: It attacks a common misconception, addresses the narrow focus on the small issues that eats up the majority of political debate, and reminds me of this Mitch Hedburg Joke.

High Time for a Change: It’s one of my latest posts, but I think it strikes the tone I want to achieve – serious, informative, with just enough attitude and humor to keep it entertaining.  Only you can tell me if I missed the mark.
